Alice N. Hager, 95, of Galesburg, passed away at 6:00 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Guest Home Estates in Erie, KS. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons, KS. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 26, 2025 at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Minnewaukan, ND.
Alice was born on July 22, 1929 in Inkster, North Dakota to Ralph and Ida (Mulder) Hulst. Alice grew up in Inkster, Gilby and Minnewaukan, ND and graduated from Minnewaukan High School in 1948.
She and Andrew Hager were married in 1949 and after marriage lived in Saco MT, Devils Lake, ND and Chugwater, WY before moving to Galesburg in 1985. Alice was a farmwife and homemaker and for a few years was a cook at the senior center in Chugwater. She was active in many organizations and activities in Chugwater including the American Legion Auxiliary and the Chugwater United Methodist Church. She is currently a member of the Galesburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, John Hager and his wife, Cindy of Thayer, Gary Hager of the home in Galesburg, Ralph Hager and his wife, Arabella of Yoder, WY and Rick Hager of Lewistown, MT; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew; son, Mike Hager; brother, Dick Hulst and a sister Nellie Dablow.
