Anne M. Pfeifer, 92, of Esmond, ND and formerly of Silva, ND passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10:30AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond with Fr. Brian Bachmeier celebrating the mass. Visitation will take place Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the church with a 7:00PM Rosary and Vigil Service to follow. Burial will take place at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

Anne M. Pfeifer was born on April 13, 1927 to Michael and Agatha (Schneider) Voeller in Silva, ND. She attended school at Silva and graduated from high school in 1945. Anne was treasure of St. Boniface Ladies Aid for 9 years. She enjoyed bowling and bowled for 37 years.

Anne married Henry S. Pfeifer on June 21, 1948 at the Mount Carmel Church in Balta, ND. The couple retired from farming in 1996 and moved to Esmond in February of 2011. Henry passed away September 7, 2016.

Anne is survived by her sisters-in-law, Irene Senger of Yakima, WA, Theresa Hoffner of Devils Lake, ND, Lydia Muscha of Fargo, ND and Irene Pfeifer of Devils Lake, ND; 44 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Henry S. Pfeifer; 8 brothers and sisters, Mary Rierson, Catherine Hoffart, Ned Voeller, Frances Sjoquist, Rochus Voeller, Agatha Rierson, Magdalen Pfeifer and Rosie Bickler.
