Arnold J Hanson, 81, Esmond, ND, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, ND.
Arnold was born in Rugby, ND on September 9, 1933. Arnold is survived by his wife, Patricia and their four children, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his sister, Agnes (Noram) Olson of Minot, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arnold was the proud owner of Evergreen Acres, Esmond, ND, for over 30 years. He was the happiest when he was with his evergreens. He loved to point out the trees, that he had planted, in other towns. Arnold loved Christmas time when families would come with their children. He so enjoyed watching the kids pick out their tree, sawing it for them and with their help hauling it back to the car. Arnold also had a very special relationship with his nephew, Norlynn (Christine) Olson and their children. They were always there for him, no matter what he needed done.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Anton and Amanda Hanson and his sister, Alice Davidson.
No services will be held at the request of family.
