Beatrice Ann Wolfe, 84, of Esmond, ND passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Edgewood Village in Bismarck, ND.   Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond with Fr. Steven Wirth celebrating.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by Rosary and Vigil Service Monday, October 7, 2024 at the church.  Burial will take place at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Boniface Catholic Church: 108 Alta Avenue North Esmond, ND 58332 or to the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery Fund P.O. Box 206 Esmond, ND 58332.

Beatrice Wolfe was born on March 26, 1940 in Rugby, ND to Anton and Mary Magdalena "Lena" (Duchscherer) Krim.   She attended Silva School to 6th grade and graduated from Esmond Public School in 1958. Beatrice was united in marriage to Elmer Wolfe (son of John Jr. & Katie Wolfe) on October 8, 1958, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond.

They spent their first winter in California and in the spring of 1959 returned to rural Esmond, ND on the Wolfe family homestead in Pierce County where they built their home and raised six children: Douglas, Jenene (Gigi), Todd, Glenn, Tammy and Leigh.

Beatrice enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, bowling and square dancing.  Beatrice spent 64 years as a farmwife cooking, baking, canning and gardening.  Her favorite was Holiday baking with her daughters and grand-daughters, a family tradition which has been passed along.   She was featured on the front of the North Dakota Living magazine in December 2016 for her delicious Christmas cutout cookies. Her highlight was spending time with grand-children.   She was a member of the St. Boniface Ladies Aid, Christian Mothers and Esmond Senior Housing board.

Beatrice is survived by her 6 children: Doug (Jackie) Wolfe, Harvey, ND, Gigi (Mike) Leintz, Bismarck, ND, Todd (Karey) Wolfe, Esmond ND, Glenn Wolfe, Esmond, ND, Tammy Wolfe, Myrtle Beach SC and Leigh Wolfe, Esmond, ND; 14 grandchildren: Kyle (Michelle) Wolfe, Kayla (Luke) Heitmann, Kordel (Dayna) Wolfe, Kari (Austin) Schmidt, Jennifer Rieger, Jerrica (Rob) Lande, Chris (Jessica) Leintz, Nick (Ashley) Leintz,  Kelsey (Tyler) Hunter, Trina (Wade) Wilke, Carlie (Kirk) Kinard, Austin (Sara) Anhorn, Skylar Epps and Dalton Epps; 4 Step grandchildren: Troy (Tanya) Leintz, Bayley Hochhalter, Jayden Hochhalter, Rylan Hochhalter;18 Great grandchildren: Paige, Tori, Quinn Wolfe, Dylan, Kylee Heitmann, Hudson, Kalen Wolfe, Logan, Kinley Leintz, Beckett, Jack Lande, Cullen, Harper Leintz, Ayden, Alyana, Bryson Hunter, Amaiya Kinard and Sutton Anhorn; 5 Step Great grandchildren: Dylan Leintz, Tyler Leintz, Hailey Jobb, Wheeler Hochhalter, Sawyer Hochhalter; One Step Great Great-Grandchild: Micah Jobb;  Sister: Grace Wolf Bea was tough and courageous and battled numerous illnesses throughout her life.

She passed away at the Edgewood Village in Bismarck, ND on October 2, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Elmer Wolfe (June 7, 2013); parents Anton and Lena Krim and sister Sandra Krim.
