Bonnie Stuberg Gray, 90, of Leeds, ND passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Leeds, ND with Pastor Elaine Sveet officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery in the spring. Music will be provided by Sid Bingaman.

Bonnie Crist was born August 4, 1928 in Leeds, ND to Oscar and Bertha (Christianson) Crist. She grew up and went to school in the Leeds area. Bonnie married Louis Stuberg and the couple raised two boys, Craig and Bradley, who were educated in Leeds. Bonnie later married Clint Gray.

Bonnie worked as a house cleaner in home in Leeds for many years. She was a great cook and baker. Bonnie's door was always open and the coffee pot was always on for the many friends and family that stopped by to visit. She loved company.

In earlier years, Bonnie liked to fish and tells of many fishing trips and cooking fish. She loved flowers, having many plants in her apartment and spending many hours outside in the summer tending to her many flower beds. Bonnie was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Craig (Eleanor) of St. Thomas, ND; daughter-in-law, Lorie Stuberg of Leeds, ND; brother-in-law, Darcy Robinson of Leeds; niece, Wendy (Kevin) Bahm of Carrington, ND; nephews, Rich (Bev) Robinson of Leeds, ND and Wade Robinson of Devils Lake, ND; grandchildren, Travis Stuberg of Leeds, ND, Jady (Sheri) Stuberg of Leeds, ND, Denvuer Stuberg (Joe Parker) of Cando, ND, Traci (Curt) Berg of Brush, CO, Heidi (Nathan) Knudson of West Fargo, ND, Jason (Katie) Dewar of Moorhead, MN and Kimberly Anderson of Minto, ND; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, Louis Stuberg and Clint Gray; son, Bradley Stuberg; brother, Arlen; sister, Myrna; granddaughter, Lori Johnson of Limon, CO.
