Obituary

Bradley Stuberg, 66, of Leeds, ND passed away on Saturday April 15, 2017 at his home under the care of hospice surrounded by his family. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Leeds Lutheran Church with Pastor Elaine Sveet officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Music will be provided by Dan and MiChelle Nybo. Military Honors will be provided by the Leeds American Legion Post #101, Robert Tovsrud VFW Post #747 of Harlow and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team.

Bradley Stuberg was born on August 28, 1950 to Louis Stuberg and Bonnie (Crist) Gray in Devils Lake, ND. He was raised and educated in Leeds and graduated from the Leeds High School with the class of 1968. Bradley entered the United States Army after school and served his tour of duty during the Vietnam War. Upon his honorable discharge, Bradley returned to home to Leeds. He fell in love with Lorie Olson and they were married in 1972 at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Harlow, ND. The couple settled in Leeds where they raised their children: Travis, Denvuer and Jady. Bradley worked for the Soo Line Railroad and did painting and carpentry before retiring.

Bradley was a humorous person and was known for his jokes. He enjoyed his coffee hours at the gas stations, assisting his son with farming and cattle operation and ranger rides with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and time spent with his grandchildren and family. Bradley was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church and the Leeds American Legion Post #101.

Bradley is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lorie; his mother, Bonnie Gray; children, Travis Stuberg of Leeds, ND, Denvuer Stuberg of Cando, ND and Jady (Sheri) Stuberg of Leeds, ND; grandchildren, Denna Allmaras, Jenna Allmaras, Coy Freund, Ryker Stuberg and Brylee Stuberg; brother, Craig (Eleanor) Stuberg; special family friend, Jason Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Stuberg; aunts and uncles, Myrna Robinson, Kenneth (Dorothy) Stuberg; numerous uncles and cousins.
