Carol Mae Thingvold, 73, Leeds, ND, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.  Arrangements are pending.

Carol Mae Hanson was born January 18, 1952 to Reuben and Dorcas (Roseneau) Hanson in Bottineau, ND. She graduated in 1970 from Bottineau High School and was wed to Alfred Roger Thingvold October 8, 1970. She worked at True Value Hardware, Kmart and Litle Caesars in Devils Lake. She lived in Churchs Ferry and moved to Leeds in 2000 where she worked at the Cenex Convenience Store until her retirement. Carol enjoyed quilting and crocheting, reading and spending time with her Cat Hazel.

Carol is survived by her son Arden & wife Leah of Leeds, ND; grandchildren Aidan Ryan Thingvold and Elliana Violet Thingvold and a sister Betty (Terry) Garman of Kiowa, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger and brother Doug Hanson.
