Dorothy June Norberg was born June 2, 1929 in Byersville Township rural Butte, ND to Knute and Lydia (Krause) Norberg. She was the youngest of four girls and dearly loved the farm life. Dorothy was raised and educated at country schools near Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1947. She furthered her education earning a Teaching Degree and accepted a position with the Leeds School.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Kenneth Stuberg on August 27, 1950 in Butte, ND and the couple made their home in Leeds. Dorothy dedicated her life raising her children while giving music lessons and helping schools in York and Leeds as an elementary teacher. After raising their children, Dorothy and Ken spent 25 years spreading their 'gospel music ministry' all over the country as well as hosting a tour to the holy land. Many family gatherings were centered around the piano singing gospel hymns.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling and singing with Ken, bird watching, gardening, board games and card games. She loved making chocolate chip cookies and banana bread for family. Dorothy's faith, marriage and family were the most important to her. She was a long time member of the Alfredians and the Leeds Lutheran Church. She served as past president of ladies WELCA, choir director and was a member of the Ladies Triple Trio at church.

Dorothy's loving family includes her husband of 66 years, Ken Stuberg; daughter, Joan (Bob) Kippley of Cañon City, CO and her family Scott Aftem (Logan Aftem), Julie (Donald) Larson III ( Ella and Grace Larson); daughter, Jill (Larry) Tarang of Leeds, ND and her family Brian (Lacey) Tarang (Kemper, Paisley and Loghan Tarang), Brooke (Travis) Kirkeide (Anna Kirkeide and unborn baby), Brittnee (Chas) Wilson (Charlie Wilson), Brendan Tarang; son, Robert (Carolee) Stuberg of Helena, MT and his family Christopher (Whitney) Stuberg, Joshua Stuberg; son, Mark (Tracy) Stuberg of MN and his family Eric (Jessica) Stuberg (Roman, Kingston and Lachlan Stuberg), Alisha (Brandon) Bailey (Skylee, Harlow and Cash Bailey); several wonderful nieces, nephews and many dear cousins.
