Edward Deloy Thayne, 78, of Leeds, ND passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Devils Lake, ND.  No services will be held.

Drafted to U.S. Army 1968, two tours to Vietnam: 1969 & 1970.  Retired from Army: 1989, worked at Walmart, Texas Correction, Strike Security and truck driving.

Children: Loretta Wangler (Dean Wangler) of Penn, ND and Michael Thayne (Karley Kinney) of Leeds, ND.

Grandkids: Justin, Kayla, Colton, Ryan, Camee, Mikey, Daniel, Ashley, Timothy, Brycine, 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Siblings: Shirley Boyd, Darlene Rowland, Howard Thayne, Dale Thayne, Laura Poates.

Preceeded in death by: (Wife) Jody Thayne

Parents: (Father) Deloy Thomas Thayne and (Mother) Violet Louise Thayne (Galloway) Granddaughter: Ashley Nicole Rice.
