Eunice H. Peterson, 92, of Burnsville, MN and formerly of Maddock, ND passed away on December 19, 2022 in Burnsville, MN.  Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 12, 2023 at North Viking Lutheran Cemetery in Maddock, ND.

Eunice was born in Heimdal, ND June 3, 1930 to Lawrence and Sarah Georgeson.  She married Lynn Peterson and moved to Harvey, ND.  They gave had two children, Vicki (Victoria) and Stephen.

The family moved to Minot, ND in 1955 where Eunice attended Minot Business College and after graduating, served in bookkeeping positions for Montgomery Wards, northwest Piano and Minot Air Force Base.  After her children were grown, Lynn and Eunice retired and moved to Maddock, ND.  They had a thriving wood craft business and enjoyed attending craft shows in the surrounding area.  Eunice enjoyed spending time with her mother and sister, Lorraine Lageson, both living in Maddock at the time.

After Lynn passed away, Eunice moved back to Minot in 2005.  In 2009, she moved to Burnsville, MN to be closer to her daughter and other family members.  She enjoyed her Sr. Co-op and embraced her new lifestyle in the twin cities.  Always a Minnesota Twins fan, she spent many years enjoying watching the games.  Her social activity was the crafting group at her co-op where annually the Fall Craft Show kept her busy with wood crafts, crocheting, embroidering dish towels and homemade baked goods.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Peterson; son, Stephen Peterson; brother, Marlyn Georgeson; parents, Lawrence and Sarah Georgeson; sisters, Lorraine Lageson and Gertrude Speck.

Eunice is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Vicki) Schweich (Rick); grandchildren, Jason, Joseph (Amy), Austin, Sarah Juergens (Kevin) and June Woodall (Chris); 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
