Forrest C. Swartz's Obituary
Forrest Charles Swartz was born April 3, 1919 at Byron, MN, the son of Violet and Darrell Swartz. He was raised at Compeer, Alberta and Nut Mountain, Sask. Forrest joined the US Army in 1940. After serving in the Air Force, he married Vera Martin on May 14, 1946. Following their marriage, they established their home in the Twin Cities. Forrest was employed by Western Electric, Rock Island Railroad, General Mills, Litton Industries and 3M. His ability to fix things, his many interests and his love of learning will always be remembered by his family.
He is survived by his children: Victor Swartz of Floodwood, MN, Sue (Ray) Kirklin of Coleman, MI and Beth (Roger) Huffman of Minnewaukan, ND; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four sisters.
Forrest was preceded in death by his wife: Vera and parents.
