Frances A. Heisler, 80, of Esmond, ND passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in Harvey, ND.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond, ND with Fr. Steven Wirth celebrating the mass.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church followed by 7:00 PM Rosary and Vigil Service. Burial will be at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

Frances was born September 15, 1944 to John H. and Mary Ann (Ebach) Lemar in Harvey, ND.  She was raised and educated in Drake, ND, where she attended school.  Frances began working at the Harvey Hospital following school, where she was employed for many years.  Frances was united in marriage to Donald R. Heisler on November 24, 1967 in Esmond.  The couple made their home in rural Esmond, and together they farmed and raised their son, Bruce.

Frances was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church, where she was an active in the Ladies Aid and Christian Mothers.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking.  Frances favorite past time was spent with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Frances is survived by her son, Bruce Heisler of Esmond; brothers, Henry (Dottie) Lemar of Tacoma, WA and Paul Lemar of Harvey, ND; sisters, Eleanor Schmidt of Phoenix, AZ, Josephine Lemar of Harvey, ND, Mary Lemar of Maple Valley, WA and Linda (Steve) Lohn of West Fargo, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Heisler; parents, John H. and Mary Ann Lemar; brother, Anthony Lemar; brother-in-law, Ben Schmidt.
