Glenn Davidson, 83, of Harvey, ND formerly of Maddock, ND, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey, ND. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM, Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock, ND with Pastor Allen Campbell officiating. Visitation will take place from 5:00PM to 7:00PM followed by at 7:00PM Prayer Service Monday July 2, 2018 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Maddock. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Music will be provided by Rachel Markestad. Burial will be at the Klara Lutheran Cemetery in rural Maddock. Casket Bearers will be Eric Olson, Kyle Olson, Steve Olson, Norlynn Olson, Kirby Kallenbach and Jared Benson.

Glenn was born July 1, 1934 to Oscar and Marie (Tobiason) Davidson in Maddock (Arne Township). He attended Arne School after which he began farming. Glenn married Alice Hanson of Esmond, ND on October 2, 1955. Three children were born to this union: Gerald Davidson of Warroad, MN, Gregory Davidson of Maddock and Kristie Westby of Cando, ND. Alice passed away on January 22, 1996.

Glenn married Leola Rangen of Maddock on December 29, 2004 at the North Viking Church. They continued living on the farm until 2014 when Glenn retired and they moved to Harvey, ND.

Glenn was a lifetime farmer who loved the land and his animals. He especially loved sharing this life style with his family. He immensely enjoyed traveling to the Hostfest in Minot, the Medora Musical and country western concerts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; parents, Oscar and Marie (Tobiason) Davidson; in-laws, Anton and Amanda Hanson; sisters, Eunice and Dagny; brother, Kermit. Glenn is survived by his wife, Leola; sons, Gerald and Gregory; daughter, Kristie; grandsons, Cody Vogel of Fargo and Matthew Davidson of Minneapolis, MN; granddaughters, Ashley (Brad) Vigen of Grand Forks and Cassie Vogel of Cando; great-granddaughters, Emrie and Cambrie Dilley of Cando; sister, Grace Davidson of Peru, IA. Glenn is also survived by Leola's children, Jeff (Pam) Rangen of Bismarck, Kristin (Tim) Kallenbach of Maddock and Shauna (Wade) Adams of Murrieta, CA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
