Gloria L. Tollefson, 61, of Minot, ND, formerly of Churchs Ferry, Minnewaukan, and Devils Lake areas, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Trinity Homes in Minot.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 18, 2009,  2:30 PM  at Trinity Free Lutheran Church in Minnewaukan with Pastor Luther Mathison officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church, from 1pm until the time of the funeral.

Casket bearers will be:  Dale Yri,  James Yri,  Leo Sayler,  Curtis Yri,  Garry Thompson and Randy Thompson.  Music will be from Julie Nelson, soloist with Fay Huffman, organist. The Nelson Funeral Home of Minnewaukan is in charge of the arrangements.

Gloria Lorraine Tollefson was born July 7, 1947 at Minot, ND, to Leo and Gina (Yri) Tollefson.  She lived with her parents until moving to Heartland Care Center at Devils Lake in 1990.  Gloria later moved to a nursing home at West Hope, ND in 1998 and for the past five years has resided at Trinity Homes in Minot.   Gloria's favorite pastime was listening to music either on the radio or television.

Surviving are a sister:  Betty (Mrs. Rick) Johnson of Lignite, ND;  step-sisters:  LaVonne Erickson of Roseburg, OR and LaVerne Anderson of Bend, OR;  nephews:  Brad (Emily) Johnson of Oxford, NC and Derek Johnson of Inver Grove Height, MN;  grand-nephews:  Riley and Carter Johnson.    She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew:  Blain Johnson.
