Gloris L. Paulson, 69, of West Fargo formerly of Maddock, ND,  died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at her home under the care of Hospice. Funeral services will be Monday, June 17, 2013, 10:30 AM at North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock with Pastor Allen Campbell officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at the Nelson Funeral Home in Maddock. Casket bearers will be her grandsons:  Luca Burnside,  Aaron Trautman,  Logan Trautman,  Nolan Trautman,  Tyrell Trautman,  Douglas Rheault,  Cody Wurgler and Kyle Wurgler.  Honorary bearers were Gloris's great-grandsons.  Music for the service will be from Joann Bergrud.

Gloris Luanne Arne was born December 15, 1943 at Flora, ND, to Albert and Agnes (Hvinden) Arne.  She was educated in Flora, Riverdale and at the Benson County Agricultural School in Maddock, ND.  Gloris later proudly earned her GED and attended Registered Nurses Training at NDSU, but was unable to complete her life-long dream of being a nurse because of several illnesses.  She married Dennis Trautman and lived in Jamestown, ND.  Gloris then moved to Maddock and was once married to Michael Paulson.  She has resided in West Fargo for some time.

She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Gloris enjoyed crocheting, quilting and helping others, also camping at Dead Colt Creek near Lisbon and at Astabula near Valley City, deer and pheasant hunting.

Surviving are 6 children:  Richard Trautman, of Jamestown, ND and his family:  Tyrell,  Logan & Nolan Trautman, grandson: Zechariah Trautman;   Karen Trautman of West Fargo and her daughter, MaKayla Trautman;   Jan Trautman of Maddock and her family:  Kristina Trautman & Douglas Rheault, grandson:  Bently Hakanson;    Randy Trautman of Fargo and his family: Amber & Abigail Trautman &  Aaron Trautman and his son Jaxson Haarsager-Dockter&;    Brad (Shaanda) Paulson of Tulsa, OK and their family:  Courtney and Baylin Paulson;   and Tami (Ron) Fick of Fargo and their family:  Lucas Burnside,  Cody & Kyle Wurgler,  Bailee & Ronnie Fick;  14 grandchildren;  2 great-grandchildren; a brother:  Jerome (Pat) Arne of Maddock;  sisters:  Arlene Warner of Maddock,  Sharon (Lyle) Smith of Detroit Lakes, MN and Deb Jacobson of Maddock; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents:  a brother & sister-in-law:  Gordon & Mavis Arne,  a brother-in-law:  James Warner and nephews:  Jeff Smith and Jimmy Warner.
