Jeannie Monge, 71, of Esmond, ND passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at the St. Aloisius Hospital SMP in Harvey, ND.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM June 1, 2024 at the Esmond Implement Building in Esmond, ND.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Jeannie's family: P. O. Box 221 Esmond, ND 58332.

Jeannie was born August 16, 1952 to Carl and Dorothy (Duncombe) Gould in Idaho.  She was united in marriage to Richard Monge on June 24, 1994 in Commerce City, CO.  Jeannie loved her family through and through.  There was nothing else that kept her going more than her husband, children and grandchildren.

Before getting sick, Jeannie regularly dove deep into family genealogy, finding out everything she could.  Before losing her daughter, Camille, she would go all out decorating for the holidays and would cook for an entire army and would bake delicious cookies.

Jeannie was an avid reader, a lover of animals and a die-hard solitaire player.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeannie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard; son, Travis Hopleins; five grandchildren, Austin Bethea, Dustann Bethea, Madison Bethea, Kyla Bethea and William Bethea; seven great-grandchildren, Addison, Kinzie, Lilly, Evie and Jeanette, William and Camilla.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Camille Bethea; parents, Carl and Dorothy Gould; brothers, Garth and Lee.
