Jeremy Joel Antonson, 40, of Waynesville, MO, a United States Army SGT Veteran, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Harry S. Truman Veteran's Hospital in Columbia after a short courageous battle with lung cancer.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Roosevelt Park in Devils Lake, ND (corner of ND-Highway 19 W and 4th Street NW Devils Lake, ND 58301).  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Jeremey's name to: American Cancer Society 2401 46th Avenue SE, Mandan, ND 58554. Military Funeral Honors will be provided by: Neathery-Simensen American Legion Post #756, Devils Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Jacelyn of Waynesville, MO; two sons, Caleb and Landon Antonson of Waynesville, MO; father, Joel (Sandie) Antonson of Emerado, ND; mother, Shelli (Olson) Elverud of Sabin, MN; stepfather, Alan Elverud of Leeds, ND; siblings, Jodi Demmerly, Brady (Kayla) Elverud and Chad (Tara) Ekren; grandmother, Vydell Aanderud; aunts and uncles, Janet, Colleen, June, Craig, Clair, Bonnie Kay, Sherri, Terri and Randy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alvin Antonson; maternal grandparents, Irving and Isabella Olson.
