Joyce L. Fink, 93, of Fargo, ND and formerly of Maddock, ND passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Bethany on 42 ^nd in Fargo.  Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Brethren Church in Maddock with Pastor Luther 'Lu' Mathison officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will take place at Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in rural Maddock at a later date.

Joyce Christianson was born April 1, 1928 in Eldon Township to Edwin and Viola Christianson. She attended the Eldon School and the Maddock Public School. Joyce worked in the restaurant industry most of her life in Maddock, where she met lifelong friends. Joyce enjoyed crewelwork and needlepoint.  She spent many winters in Florida with her family later in life.

Joyce Married Robert (Bob) Westrum, son of the late Carl and Anna Westrum, in 1947 in Maddock. To this union, two children were born: Rodney (Rod) Westrum of Williston, ND and Joan Westrum Simpson of Kissimmee, FL.

Joyce is survived by her sisters, Marvel Sylling and Yvonne Finley; son, Rod Westrum; daughter, Joan Westrum Simpson; five grandchildren, Sherri Ulrich (Allen), Bob Westrum (Angie), Carson Dokken (Nikki), Shannon Simpson (Sabrina) and Daniel Simpson Jr., 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Viola Christianson; her husband's, Bob Westrum and Wesley (Wes) Fink; sister, Virginia; two brothers, Eugene and Dennis; daughter-in-law, Paulette.
