Judy A Ritterman Obituary:
Judy A Ritterman, 67, of Leeds, ND passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Vibra Health Care in Fargo, ND. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00am at Leeds Lutheran Church in Leeds, ND with Pastor Allen Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery, rural Leeds. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 4pm to 5:30pm with a 5:30pm Prayer Service at the Nelson Funeral Home in Leeds. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Judy Ritterman was born on February 1, 1947 at Minot, ND to parents Reinholdt and Eleanor Bonnet. Her father passed away when she was at a young age and her mother then married Ed Striha. She attended school in Minot and graduated from Butte High School, Butte, ND. She attended NDSSS and obtained a nursing degree. Judy married Leland Ritterman on September 2, 1967 in York, ND. To this union, three children were born, namely Pam, Shelly, and Stephanie.
Judy was employed at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake for a few years and 30 years at Johnson Clinic. Judy was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church in Leeds, taught Sunday school for years, York Ladies Aid, York Auxiliary, and Dozen Homemakers. She loved to read, bake, cook, play cards, and work on sudoka puzzles. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and family gatherings. Judy enjoyed visiting with friends over coffee and a cookie. She was a born caretaker, putting others first.
Judy is survived by her husband, Leland Ritterman; daughters, Pam Lee, Shelly (Mike) Kegley, Stephanie (Patrick)Hockett; Grandchildren: Kenadi, Keringten, Kaden, Makenah, Rebekah, Brody, Rudee, Shea, and Ella.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather.
