Kenneth 'Kenny' Bonn, 84, of Minnewaukan, ND passed Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home. A private family funeral service will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at the North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock, ND with Pastor Bonnie Weaver officiating. A public visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Maddock. Burial will take place at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Minnewaukan.
Due to Covid-19, the following CDC recommendations are highly encouraged: social distancing, hand cleansing and sanitization, and wearing masks. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

Kenneth W. Bonn, son of Albert and Helen (Knudsvig) Bonn Sr., was born October 3, 1936, in Mylo, ND. He was married to Janice Hjelden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hjelden, on January 18, 1958. The couple lived in the Mylo area from 1958 to 1962, at which time they purchased the farm where he currently lived. He farmed there until retiring this past year. Janice passed away November 7, 1978.
Kenny was a kind and generous man. He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends and will be missed very much.
Kenny is survived by his children, Lori (Marvin) Tweet of Thompson, ND, Mark Bonn of Minnewaukan, ND, Kristi Tweet of Thompson, ND, and son-in-law Mark Tweet of Alvarado, MN; grandchildren, Jonathan (Megan) Tweet, Janice Tweet, Amy Tweet, Alyson Tweet, and Joey Tweet; greatgrandchildren Henry, Sadie, and Vivian Tweet; sister, Frances Lang and brother, Phil (Jean) Bonn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; parents, Albert and Helen Bonn Sr.; sisters Bev Anderson and Donna Gerald; brothers, Richard Bonn, Albert Bonn Jr. and Paul Bonn.
