Kerry R. Georgeson, 54, of Harvey formerly of Esmond and Maddock, ND, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at his home.  Graveside services will be Friday, July 3, 2009,  10am at Rosehill Cemetery in Esmond with Pastor David Walters officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Casket bearers will be:  Dale Brown,  Alf Dybing,  Matt Georgeson,  Darrell Johnson,  Blair Pforr and Doug Wolf.  The Nelson Funeral Home in Maddock is in charge of the arrangements.

Kerry R. Georgeson was born March 13, 1955 at Rugby, ND, to Roy and Arlice (Brown) Georgeson.  He was raised in Esmond and graduated from the Esmond High School in 1974.  Kerry was a self taught mechanic.  Through the years, he lived and worked in Esmond, Maddock, Fessenden and Harvey, ND.  Ill health forced is retirement.

While working in Esmond, Kerry was a volunteer fireman and served as the Chief and at Maddock, he served on the city council and was a volunteer fireman.  Kerry enjoyed the music of Kenny Rogers and crafted many items out of leather.

Surviving are a daughter & son-in-law:  Thea & Bryce Buri of Bloomington, MN;  a son:  Aaron Georgeson of Bismarck;  a grandson:  Max Georgeson;  his parents:  Roy & Arlice Georgeson of Esmond;  brothers:  Verdane (Kimberly) Georgeson of Maddock & Arlynn (Tammy) Georgeson of Glen Carvin, Ill;  sisters:  Shelley Georgeson & her companion, LeRoy Senger of Crary, ND,  Denise Georgeson of Beulah, ND & Marlene  Keplin of Grand Forks; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
