Kevin G. Bachmeier, 52, of Sheyenne, ND, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey, ND. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.

Kevin George Bachmeier was born May 8, 1968 to Richard and Mary Ann (Shroyer) Bachmeier in New Rockford, ND. He attended school in Sheyenne and graduated from Sheyenne High School in 1988. Kevin began working full time at Farmers Union Oil in Sheyenne, a career extending over 26 years. He then spent his time raising cattle. Kevin was united in marriage to Becky Jordre on December 18, 2000 in Grand Forks, ND.

Kevin considered hard work more of a hobby than work. He was well known for helping his neighbors and also did seasonal work for Roger and Travis Benson farms of Sheyenne. He loved ranching, working alongside his cattle dog, Lucy and ice fishing. Kevin was a member of the Valhalla Township Board and was currently a member of the Wells County Weed Board.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Becky Bachmeier; sister-in-law, Lori (Lindsey) Fingarson; nieces, Vanessa (Eric) Zachariason, Hayley Fingarson and Mikayla Fingarson; great-nephew, Leo Zachariason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Ann Bachmeier; brother-in-law, Wayne Jordre.
