Obituary

Lee W. Buehler, 59, of Oberon, ND, died Thursday, August 11, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Center in Devils Lake.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011,  10:00 AM  at Trinity Free Lutheran Church in Minnewaukan with Pastor Luther Mathison officiating.  Burial will be in Antelope Valley Lutheran Cemetery, rural Oberon.  Visitation will be Wednesday at the church an hour before the funeral.  Casket bearers will be:  Justin Roberts,  Todd Buehler,  Greg Thomas,  Tom Schmid,  Richard Evenson,  Roger Harmon and Dean Johnson.  Honorary bearers will be the staff from the Dialysis Unit of Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake.  Fay Huffman will be the organist.

Lee William Buehler was born January 16, 1952 in Spokane, Washington to Ernest and Juanita (Harmon) Buehler.  He was raised in Maddock and graduated from the Maddock High School in 1970.  Lee then worked for Summers Manufacturing in Maddock until moving to Devils Lake where he was employed by Behm's Propane.  In 1983,  he  moved to Minnewaukan and farmed with his step-father, Roger Roberts until ill health forced him to retire.  He resided with his mother and step-father during his illness until recently when he became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Devils Lake.

Lee loved farming.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, bowling and darts.

He is survived by his mother and step-father:  Juanita and Roger Roberts of Oberon and a sister:  Karen Carlson of Devils Lake.   Lee was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
