Myrna Eileen Crist was born August 19, 1934 at Rugby, ND, the daughter of Oscar and Bertha (Christianson) Crist. She was raised near Leeds, attended rural school near York, ND and Leeds High School. Myrna then worked at various cafes in Leeds prior to her marriage to Darcy Darrel Robinson on December 29, 1956 at Leeds. They lived with her father before moving to Cando. After raising her family, Myrna was employed at the Style Shop, Jorde's Potatoes and the Bottleshop all in Cando. The couple moved to their farm north of Leeds in 1981 and retired in 1998. They spent several winters traveling to California, Washington and spending the majority of the time in Arizona.
Myrna was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church and its WELCA. She enjoyed flower gardening, mowing, reading, watching hockey-especially watching her kids and grandson's play, camping, playing the penny slot machine at the casino and in the most recent years attending her grandchildren's church and sporting events or if she wasn't able to attend she would watch the video tape over and over. She also cherished the times that family and friends would visit or get together. Mostly, she loved her husband, kids, grandkids, great grandchild and Missy (her cat) with all her heart.
Surviving are her husband: Darcy of rural Leeds; sons: Darcy Wade Robinson of Devils Lake and Rick Lane (Beverly) Robinson of Leeds; a daughter: Wendy Lee (Kevin) Bahm of Carrington, ND; grandchildren: Joshua Bracken, Justin Bracken, Christopher Bahm, Kyle Bahm, Antony Olson, Alexander Olson and Lauren Olson; a great-grandson: Ryder Joseph Bracken and a sister: Bonnie Gray of Leeds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter: Holly Renee; and a brother: Arlan Crist.
Condolences:
Such a great Loss that there are not enough words to express how Great she truly was. She was an inspiration to many. She holds you all still so close, I am sure as close as you all were to her, as that is how loving, caring and kind woman she was. May she rest in peace and be released from all pain. She now opens a new part of life up thru the pearly gates of heaven, where she will meet the ones that have left before her. I will never forget our visits, our laughs and most of all the hugs I got every time I saw her. These are memories I will cherish forever. God Bless each and every one of her family and friends during this time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Nicole Clifton Geiszler
