Patricia Ann Hanson, 74, of Esmond ND, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey, ND. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you do an act of kindness in Patricia's memory.
Patricia Ann was born October 10, 1946 to Floyd and Ruth Ann (Boehm) Smith in Chicago, IL. She attended Shawano High School where she performed in plays and graduated with the class of 1965. Patricia met Freddie Tuchscherer at her uncle's bowling alley and was united in marriage on July 25, 1967. To this union, the couple welcomed four children: Sarah, Peter, Susan and Paula. Freddie passed away January 9, 1976.
Patricia moved her family to Rugby where they resided for a number of years. She met Arnold J. Hanson outside the Corner Bar in Esmond and was united in marriage November 20, 1981 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Esmond. Arnold passed away November 29, 2014.
Patricia loved her family and her favorite past time was spent with her children and grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed knitting, watching the Green Bay Packers and swimming. Special memories were made as all the kids would load into her car and head for the lake. She was also a member of the Rugby Eagles Club.
Patricia is survived by her children, Sarah (Rick) Mangan of Grand Forks, ND, Peter Tuchscherer of Fargo, ND, Susan (Tom) Marsh of Devils Lake, ND and Paula (Thornton) Thomas of Harrodsburg, KY; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Freddie Tuchscherer (1976) and Arnold Hanson (2014); parents, Floyd and Ruth Ann (Boehm) Smith.
