Patricia Lou Kenner, 84, of Maddock, ND, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, ND. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock, ND with Pastor Allen Campbell officiating. Visitation will begin from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by at 7:00 PM Prayer Service Monday, June 18, 2018 at the North Viking Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the North Viking Lutheran Cemetery. Music will be provided by Rachel Markestad, Kelly Wanzek, Karl Kenner and Annaliese Raushenberger.

Patricia "Patty" Lou was born to Frank and Valborg (Thompson) Carley on May 9, 1934 in Rugby, ND. She attended grade school in Edmunds, ND and graduated from Esmond High School in 1952. Patty was united in marriage to Harold Kenner on January 27, 1952 in the Esmond Lutheran Church. Together, the couple raised five children: Cindy, Connie, Curt, David and Dean.

Patty loved to bake and cook for her family and friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and was famous for her delicious buns. Patty was an active member of the North Viking Lutheran Church.

Patty is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold; children, Cindy (Mike) Smith of rural Minot, ND, Connie (Richard) Oksendahl of Fargo, ND, Curt (Kim) Kenner of Maddock, ND, David (Karen) Kenner of Maddock, ND and Dean (Anna) Kenner of Delta, CO; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Colleen Ruiz; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Valborg (Thompson) Carley; brothers, Duane Carley, Franklin Carley and Dale Carley.
