Ray Paul Keesler, 88, was born on April 3, 1931 in Carbondale, PA., grew up in Rochester, NY. He then moved to California where he met and married the love of his life. Ray served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Ray passed away peacefully at home on May 3rd, 2019. He was survived by his wife Eulale Yvonne Keesler (Rognlie), and by his son Matthew Paul Keesler (Ingrid Keesler). A Graveside Service will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at Stony Lake Lutheran Cemetery in rural Maddock, ND at 1:00 PM with Pastor Luther 'Lu' Mathison officiating.

" I'm Gonna Call It a Day"

Hey Ray, I know you worked hard today

Being mindful of your wife and son, and earning your pay,

You've always been on time, even staying late

But you need to rest now, work can wait.

"I know boss, but the hour is near

And bills need to be paid, large ones I fear."

"My family holds me in such high regard you see.

So I work hard to let them know how much they mean to me."

Your family, always in My care they'll be

You've done the best you can; by your family everyone can see!

You've fought the good fight and run the race

It's ok if you can't stay the same pac

So Ray, you've earned your pension

You've put in your time; the table is set for you to dine!

"Yes, it is getting late and time to go.

Eulale and Matt, they'll be ok?"

Ray, they'll be safe and always in my care

I'll keep them from harm and from every snare.

So c'mon home, you've earned your pay!

It's ok….you can call it a day.
