Rodney M. Parslow, 72, of Leeds, ND and passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at the St. Rose Care Center in LaMoure, ND. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Leeds Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Baker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Hansboro Cemetery in Hansboro, ND at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Leeds Park Board to be used for the swimming pool renovations: 221 Main Street West Leeds, ND 58346.

Rodney was born on September 13, 1953, in Rolla, ND, to Earl and Leota (Johnson) Parslow. He spent his early years in Hansboro, ND, where he attended school. Later, his parents retired to Arizona, and Rodney graduated from Catalina High School in Tucson, Arizona.

Following high school, Rodney returned to Hansboro, ND, where he spent his early years trucking and helping on the farm.

Later in life, Rodney married and moved to Bisbee, ND, where he raised his three sons, Jeff, Nick, and Adam. Rodney owned and operated two trucking companies: Parslow Enterprise in Bisbee, ND and Gateway Transportation in Grand Forks, ND. He had a love for trucking and took great pride in his equipment. Rodney was meticulous with his trucks and knew his way around a CAT engine like the back of his hand. He enjoyed fishing and spent many hours on the water whenever he had the chance. He also enjoyed golfing even though he was horrible at it.

In the early 2000s, he relocated to Leeds, ND, where he continued working in the agriculture industry while trucking until his retirement in 2020.

Rodney is survived by his three sons, Jeff (Aaron) Parslow of Powers Lake, ND, Nick (Callie) Parslow of Leeds, ND, and Adam Parslow of Leeds, ND; his brother, Rex (Jan) Parslow of Hansboro, ND; his grandchildren, Lucas and Chase Parslow and Averi and Gunner Parslow; and many nieces and nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Leota Parslow; his sister, Beverly Bonn; and his brother-in-law, Larry Bonn.
