Ronald Arlen Wentz, 58, of Rugby, ND passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond, ND with Fr. Brian Bachmeier celebrating. Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by Rosary and Vigil Service Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Ronald Arlen Wentz was born February 5, 1961 to Valentine and Marlene (Schmidt) Wentz in Rugby. He was raised and educated in Balta, ND and graduated from Balta High School in 1979. Ron than began working full time with his father on the farm.

Ronald was united in marriage to Tamara Grossman on July 10, 1987 in Rugby. Together the couple raised four children: Valerie, Nicholas, Danelle and Derek. Ronald enjoyed farming with his family until an accident forced him into early retirement.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tamara; children, Valerie (Jon) Bush of Rugby, Nicholas Wentz of Minot, Danelle Germain of Rugby and Derek Wentz of Bismarck; parents, Valentine and Marlene Wentz; grandchildren, Jaxon and Frank (dog); siblings, Peggy (Troy) Marsden, Pat (Theresa) Wentz, Steve Wentz and Jerry Wentz; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Valerie, Barbara, Raymond and Perry; nephew, Timmy; Grandpa Matt, Grandma Mary, Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Pius.
