Scott Nelsen, 55, of Leeds, ND passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Leeds Lutheran Church.

Scott was born September 16, 1960 to David and Mary (Nesvig) Nelsen in Devils Lake, ND. He went to school and graduated from the Leeds High School. Scott opened a small engine business for a few years before attending school to become an Airline Mechanic for Northwest Airlines.

Scott lived in Prior Lake, MN until the death of his parents, David and Mary. He returned back home to try his hand at farming. Scott's love was in trouble shooting problems with farm equipment and gave up farming to go back to working as a Diesel Mechanic in the following years. He was a person with many talents and had a big heart.

Scott is survived by his two children, Kimberly and Kurtis of Leeds, ND; a sister, Linda Snyder of Lanett, AL; a niece, Shelley Wittrock of Rice, MN; a nephew, Jamie Jack of Thompson, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Nelsen; baby sister, Sue.
