Stephen 'Steve' Allan, 48, of Surrey, ND passed away Wednesday November 3, 2021 at Trinity Health in Minot, ND.  Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2021 at North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock, ND with Pastor Cassie Borges officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM followed by 5:00 PM Prayer Service Sunday, November 7, 2021 at North Viking Lutheran Church.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.  Music provided by Rachel Markestad.  Burial will take place at North Viking Lutheran Cemetery.  Everyone is welcome to stream the service online through Nelson Funeral Home Facebook Page. Steve was born April 14, 1973 to David and Marilyn (Johnson) Allan in Maddock.  He grew up and was educated in Maddock, graduating with the class of 1992.  Steve continued his education for a time at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake.  While living in Devils Lake, Steve was employed with Target Roofing for a number of years before moving to Minot, ND.

Steve volunteered with the rural Fire Department in Minot from 2001-2011, climbing the rank from Firefighter, Lieutenant and Captain.  He was employed with the Minot Fire Department from 2005-2011. Steve was currently employed with AJR Contracting (FedEx) in Minot up until the time of his passing.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Lindsey and Ashlyn Allan; parents, David and Marilyn Allan; sister, Becky (Chad) Arthur; fiancée, Nichole and her children, Kaila, Kloe and Connor; nieces, Alexus (Michael) Larson, Taylor Arthur and Allyson Arthur; several aunts, uncle and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Arlene Allan; Earl and Rosemary Johnson; uncles, John Wood and Reuben Grosz.
