Steven Mitchell Torgerson, 45, Balfour ND, passed away November 29, 2014 at Trinity Hospital in Minot. Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Lebanon Free Lutheran Church, Leeds, ND at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at the church, with Pastor Pam Stang officiating. Honorary Bearers will be all of Steven's friends and relatives.
Steven Mitchell Torgerson was born November 30, 1968 in Hayward, California to Thomas and Janice (Bothun) Torgerson. Steven married Kathy Duguay on November 26, 1994 in Pembina, ND. Steven recently moved his wife and children to Balfour, ND to be closer to family and friends. He attended and graduated from Leeds High School and went on to further his education at St Mary's in Bismarck, ND and UND of Devils Lake, ND.
Steven was an avid fisherman, animal lover, loved sport and was a Charger fan to the end. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and was best known for giving his love and support generously and unconditionally to all.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy and their children, Tori (14) and Fischer (10) residing in Balfour, ND. His mother, Janice Torgerson of Leeds, ND and sisters, Tammy Hoffert of Minot, ND and Lori Torgerson of Chaska, MN.
Steven passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 29, 2014. He was preceeded in death by his father, Thomas Duane Torgerson and grandparents, Selmer and Carrie Torgerson and Melvin and Alma Bothun. He has left a big hole in so many hearts.
